Everywhere Jase travels up north is hard, hot country. They always travel in this area in the middle of the summer season.  

The summer season is the best time of the year for the weather, and the fishing for Barramundi. The tourist season is over and they have all left, because it is to hot and dry

The planning and preparation that goes into a trip of these areas is very important. Jase travel these areas by themselves with no back-up or another boat. The last thing that they want in these hard conditions is for their equipment to fail. WAECO was the first choice when selecting a 12v fridge to travel with.

One time, driving down the Gibb River road in the middle of one of the hottest days of the season the temperature hit 47 degrees and the road consisted of endless corrugations and bull dust. The engine temperature of the 4x4 was so high that they could not have the air conditioner on, making the in car temperatures the same as the outside air temperatures. So what is VMSO?
VMSO (Variable Motor Speed Optimisation) is unique technology, which allows the compressor to optimise the cooling speed through automatic selection between 'Soft Start' and 'Turbo' modes. Therefore it reaches the set temperature faster, maintains the temperature effectively and spares the components at the same time, causing less wear and tear. And best of all - it does it all on its own - all you have to do is turn on the fridge!

VMSO In specific
VMSO gives the compressor a soft and power-saving start at 2500 rpm. If the preset temperature is not reached within a short period of time, or a temperature colder than -12?C has been set; the turbo cooler switches on automatically to boost the compressor speed to 3000rpm. As soon as the preset temperature of up to -12?C has been reached, the system switches back to economy mode (except if a temperature below has been set). The outcome: fast yet economical cooling from +10?C to -18?C.

Smart Danfoss with integrated AC
The CoolFreeze VER.B range features Smart Danfoss compressors with built in AC. In detail, the compressor has a built-in Danfoss manufactured rectifier, which converts 240V AC to the DC required to run the compressor. This provides hassle free operation on 240V AC without the need for external adapters.

Furthermore, the inbuilt battery protection makes CoolFreeze VER.B ideal for vehicles with single batteries. Since it is built-in, there is no need for external adapters.

CoolFreeze VER.B is covered under a 3 year component and labour warranty - Australia wide.
